Payment
A 30% deposit of the total rent is due at the time the booking is confirmed. The balance is due in Switzerland no later than 49 days before the beginningof the rental period. After full payment has been received a voucherwith directions and the address of the key holder are sent to the client.
Extra costs
All extra costs are paid on site in the local currency, if they are notincluded in the rental price.
Number of persons
If the number of people exceeds that indicated on the voucher and specifiedin the property description, the owner or representative can refuse entranceto the property.
Arrival and Departure
The rental period is one week, usually Saturday - Saturday and begins after 4 PM - 8 PM on the arrival date and ends before 10 AM on the departure date. If the client intends to arrive or depart at any other time or day, he/she should inform us in advance. If client arrives outside of this time period without making prior arrangements the key holder has the right to refuse entry to the property. Departure after 10AM will result in a 100CHF fee per apartment. Departure after 2PM will result in an additional day charge.
Complaints
If the client has cause for complaint, he/she should inform Imotours within 72 hours of the beginning of the rental period. Complaints made over the telephone also have to be confirmed in writing at the latest 10 days after the end of the rental period. No complaint can be considered unless this procedure is observed.
Cancellation Policy
Should the client for any reason cancel the booking, the following cancellationcharges will be applied:
- Sfr. 95.00 if the cancellation is made up to 90 days before the arrivaldate.
- Sfr. 95 and 20% of the total rent, if canceled 89 - 50 days beforethe arrival date.
- 100 % of the total rent, if canceled 49 - 0 days before the beginningof the rental period
Should the European Vendor succeed in renting the property of the canceled booking,the client must only pay a Sfr. 95 penalty.
If at any time due to circumstances beyond our control the property booked becomes unavailable or unfit for habitation, the client will be notified immediately. We will either reimburse the client the entire amount of the rental cost, or, if so instructed, try to arrange an alternative accommodation of equal value (if available).We can not be held responsible for temporary increase in noise due to construction, for instance, and/or temporary lack of water or electricity.Under no circumstances will we be responsible for consequential damages in excess of the agreed upon rental price.
Jurisdiction
For any dispute concerning booking and renting only the court of law ofBern, Switzerland will have jurisdiction.
